John’s pieces have the potential to become heirlooms if they are looked after with the same care that you would give to, say, valuable pieces of antique furniture. The wood is finished with natural beeswax, which can be renewed or refreshed as required with a good quality wood polish that is beeswax (not silicon) based.
Remember, wood is a living material that needs gentle handling - keep the piece away from sources of heat and moisture.
